MTN cancelations customer service pathetic

Why can I not get through to MTN cancelations to cancel my contract, I have to wait hours on the line only to get through to someone who then cuts the call after hearing I want to cancel my contract. Very unprofessional service and no longer want to be a customer with MTN I am going to cancel all my contracts with them as soon as possible
