MTN can't deliver on Promotion

<p>My finace who stood in line at the MTN in Sandton for quite some time on 13-01-2017 for the 50 gb special was told by the MTN saleperson that she would recieve the phone later on the 13th once the application has been approved. She went back later that day and she was told that she would only recieve the phone on monday as there was too many applications to approve. Once again on monday she was told that the application will be approved only on tuesday. once again on tuesday she was told to com back on wednesday. Finally on wednesday the salesperson says that he doesn't think the application was approved and she should try again on the 14 of feb as the special will be held again! This is absolutely appauling service. Making customers run around while lying to them and not delivering on a deal that was advertised all over sounds like false advertising to me. If MTN cannot sort this out within the next day i will escalate this to the Advertising Standards Authority of South Africa. Even vodacom can process a deal within a day. MTN shouldn't advertise what they obviously cannot deliver on. </p>
