Mtn Call Centre Poor service

I called the call centre to get my IMEI number linked to my phone and my phone fell and insurance need it. I cannot find my box where it was in. The call centre lady Pamella said she cannot give it to me because she might give me the wrong number. I need to give her the number. She cannot trace the number on my cell linked to my profile for 1 cellphone. How is it possible.
