'MTN Call Centre' *****

I was called from *** and ask you if you are busy doing a SIM swop, they even provide a name who is trying to do the SIM swop. This sounded like a MTN employee, he even talked like a call centre person and also said that the call is recorded and called me by my name! He said he is going to send me a sms with a OTP that i need to relay to him to prove that this is my number and that this will prevent the person to do a SIM swop, which i did. The sms looked legit, similar to the standard MTN sms. This done i was told that no SIM swop will happen. after putting the phone down i received a message indicating that R200 of my airtime has been transferred to another MTN phone number, in this case *** (if you call these numbers, no answer or message) THIS LOOKS TO ME LIKE AN INSIDE JOB!

Luckily i only lost R200, what if.....
