MTN - CALL CENTRE

<p>I am attending to the administration of a deceased estate. The deceased had a cell phone contract through MTN. I need to cancel the contract. The first think I found was that MTN discourage phone calls at all costs. Eventually I managed to find a phone number on their web site being ********** . After going through the inevitable questioning process, I finally got through to an operator. She gave me the number for the deceased estate department. I then phoned the number ********** 920 and was greeted by a screaming fax line. I then had to go through the process of getting hold of an operator again. This time I was told numerous times that deceased's cell phone number that I had entered was incorrect and that I therefore do not qualify to speak to an agent. Eventually the cell phone number was accepted and I got through to an agent again. I was once again given the same number for the deceased estate department. The operator advised that there was no other number or email address an that if I failed to reach the department I would have to go into an MTN shop. I once again tried the number and was again greeted with a loud screaching fax sound.</p> <p> </p> <p>I find this type of "service" extremely frustrating and frankly, just not good enough.</p>
