MTN CALL CENTRE 135 - Useless and ineffective call centre support to paying clients.

MTN CALL CENTRE 135 - Useless and ineffective call centre support to paying clients. Your call centre agents are not knowledgeable, competent or capable in managing queries related to contracts/Billing. They simply pass you on to someone else when they cannot answer a query. MTN service delivery and post sales support to clients is non-existent. Calling the 135 call centre is like dropping something into the abyss. 5 July 11am - I called the centre to enquire how to setup and the requirements for using my data card/external modem internationally when travelling overseas. The first agent explained the data card will not work unless I have a credit limit enabled and put me through to the accounts team - WITH NO EXPLANATION. I repeat my query for the SECOND TIME to the accounts agent. The call centre agent in the accounts department could not clearly explain to me how the credit limit versus usage limits on an account work, nor could she answer the queries I had of how the billing works and so duly forwarded my call to the pre-paid division (WITH NO EXPLANATION TO THE AGENT SHE WAS PASSING ME ONTO). Now 20 minutes of being on the phone and extremely frustrated as this should be a very simple process/explanation?!!! I repeat my story for the 3rd time. The agent in the pre-paid division is confused why I was put through to her if this is my query then explains that she could not assist me as my query was not related to her area of expertise/work, nor can she look into my account set-up. I then requested my call be directed to a supervisor. Wisane (in pre-paid) then forwarded my call to the Pre-Paid Team Leader Orsa. I repeat my query for the 4th TIME to the team leader and he confirmed they could not assist me. I therefore requested he escalate my query to the supervisor of the accounts department. He took down my contact details and as at now Fri 5 July, 11:30am - I await a return call from the supervisor of the MTN acccounts team. Lets wait and see if I ever get a response back from then. #mtnservicesucks
