Mtn call center full of nonsense

Had mtn contract for years now I want to cancel my contact and they don't wanna help and so unfriendly. When I tell her I wanna cancel she said o I am suppose to phone last month but I did and they told me to phone today. Then I wanna cancel and she said she can't hear me and just cuts the call. Help please
