MTN Bully Tactics

My contract expires on 11 Feb 2020, acc no AO764884 and cell no ***. I phoned 135 on 1 Feb 2020 at 09h01 to cancel my contract fro 12 Feb 2020. I was told by a “champion” that I must phone again on 12 Feb 2020 to cancel my contract and to have the no registered as pre paid. I can’t understand why the request could not be done on the first time I phoned. The other problem I have is I kept my previous upgrade with MTN because their midnight date was to 05h59, but now it will be changed to 04h59. This is very inconvenient for me, because I’ve subscribed to netwer24 and download my newspaper before06h00. These newspaper are not available before 05h00. I know it states in the contract that MTN can change certain rules, but I feel it’s a one sided decision, unfair and a bully tactic. MTN has been taken to task, see article in the Beeld of 4 Feb 2020, page 12 “MTN se 3600 minute g’n onbeperk” If I knew MTN will change the night data to 04h59, I would have stayed with Vodacom. Their midnight data is also 04h59. Maybe this matter should also follow an investigation.
