MTN breaking contract

I bought a Samsung A33 on contract with MTN. It has now been more than 4 months which I have been paying but the phone is with them. How in heavens name is this fair. They swapped it once, still problems. They took it back and now I just pay pay pay and I sit with no phone...Who can help me legally please...I have all the correspondence with them...
