MTN *********ing customers
I contacted MTN via 173 last week to request that the spam & promotional smses not be sent to me anymore, seeing that I never gave consent for it to be sent in the first place. I was assured that it will be removed and no further smses would be received.
10min later I received the next spam sms.
I contacted MTN again today, only to be told that in order for the spam to be stopped, I would have to sms CANCEL to some number at a cost way above the standard sms rates.
THIS IS CALLED *********! I was told this is MTN company policy, so I would like to warn all MTN users that this service provider is out to steel & ********* their customers anyway they see fit. No wonder they get fined all over Africa for their ******** activity.
