MTN binded me on unwanted contract by force, they refuse to cancel

I took a data contract with MTN which expired last year 10 May 2022, instead of cancelling they pushed it to month to month contract, for about 3months, then by September i called to cancel wih no success then tried email, with no respond , they continued billing me, and i called again in October 2022 requesting for a cancelation they gave me a ref No. and even stopped billing which was a confirmation for the cancellation i had secured a loan to buy a car, which just when funds where suppose to be released, im told i cannot get them as i owe MTN R1733.63 for Data contract which i didnt even use . MTN is refusing to cancel the contract still even i after i ahve called then multple times i ended up paying the amount. and no one is attending nor responding to my emails for cancellation. i dont get it, why must we stay with unwanted contracts? im so disapointed with them, i dont think ill ever take anything from them. I mean this is not the first time iv taken something with them, in the past they canecelled without any hussles ttats why i came back for the second time. but now after all this im never going back again.
