My wife contracts contract expired at the end of September 2020. Yesterday,14 November 2020, my wife's account was suspended for 6 hours. An 8am sms was received that an order was submitted at 8am, there was no request submitted from my wife. When I call the consultant I was advised that they were moving accounts to a new system.
Today my wife experienced the same issue, 2 calls were made today. The first call had resulted with the consultant only advising R870 was due. When asked what this amount was for no details can be supp****. The second call was 1 hour long, and resulted in many issues being identified on MTN billing system that customers needs to be aware. My wife received a call in october where the consultant requested if she wanted an upgrade, where she advised a month to month contract. As of today no invoice, statement has been submitted from September and the consultant could not provide any details of this amount of R800 was made up of, the only thing that was kept being said you have to pay R800 to get the line reactivated. At which point I requested for a manager....I was then advised I had to wait 2 hours for the manager to call.....No surprise no call has been received.
Mtn has 24 hours to rectify this issue, before this matter is reported to Icasa as there are other of ***** aspects, not mentioned in this review of their system and have only mentioned the key aspects of my call.
