MTN Bill Shock
I would like to know how and why you can just change my data usage limit from 0 to R380 without my approval?
I have never went over my usage limit while it was set to 0. This morning I got a bill shock. A few months ago I have received the below email.
"Y'ello! Avoid bill shock & the hassle of recharging by setting the MTN usage limit on your account to an amount that suites your pocket. For Your convenience we have set your usage limit to R380. To decline your new limit SMS 'NO" to 30188"
So obviously I have not sent an SMS to decline, but you just take it as a YES??? You have changed the limit without my approval??? Who still reads and sends SMSe????

We have investigated the issue you raised with us and we can confirm that that we have set you limit to R0 and we have credited the payment of R330.43 that was depleted due to data usage back to your account. This should reflect on your current bill for March 2019.
