MTN Big Problem!! - MTN Clearwater Mall

On Monday the 17th of February 2020 I went into MTN Clearwater Mall (the bigger shop) to take out two new data contracts. The MTN agent who helped me was Bianca. That specific day they had problems with a new admin system they were migrating to and starting to use. Thus, we could not conclude the process. Because I live far (300km from the mall) and that I could not come back at any time, they decided to give me the two sim cards and told me I can start using it while they prepare the contract. They told me they will email me the contract to sign.

A few days at home, struggling with the sim cards with on-and-off service, they still didn't send me the contract which I asked for a few times during the week. So now I have two sim cards not working properly and no contract. I called MTN customer care and they could not locate the two contracts with my ID number. I called the shop, within a week, to tell them to cancel everything as their service is ********** and I still don't have a contract. I also decided to stop using the sim cards because using the sim cards without a contract did not seem right. The manager told me he would cancel everything. Nope, that did not happen. I called twice and everytime the manager is busy or not in the shop. I also asked that he call me back, NOTHING.

Up to this date I am receiving bills from MTN, the last one over R8000. Please note that the sim cards are not in use. So I am receiving bills for a contract I did not sign, with my ID number that they cannot link to any of those two accounts. How *****ed up is this??? Billing me for a contract I did not sign will surely have some legal implications.

Please note: I did ask the shop to send me a bill for the data I used (approximately 5 gig). Also did not receive any bill, instead received a bill for the full contracts and now a bill for over R8000 that has not been specified.

Update:

I called customer care care today (16 April 2020) and they told me both sim cards are now linked to my name and ID number. So the MTN store created two contracts in my name I did not sign. I think they have a problem.
