MTN = Big Corporate Bully of the Consumer!

Absolutely sick and tired of MTN's bad service!! A new number mysteriously appeared on my account in January which caused my bill to go up by over R700.00 for the first month thereafter just over R200 on a monthly basis and its still going despite reporting the issue to MTN on several occasions.

1. Phoned MTN on first appearance of this number in January - Was told to send them a certified affidavit as well as all other supporting documents, which I did and received no response.

- New Invoice came, no change.

2. Went to a MTN branch will all the relevant documentation and reported it again. This time a ***** case was opened and the branch manager told me that this happened to another customer as well, unfortunately nothing came of that either.

- New Invoice came, no change.

3. Went to the same MTN branch with the reference number they gave me the last time and reported the case again, stood there for 1hr whilst they tried to figure out what the problem was, in the end they told me that the system said that the issue was resolved but that theyll load another ***** case.

- New Invoice came, no change.

4. Went to the branch again with another reference number (as per my last visit) and again stood there just under 1hr. This time the ticket was still open but nobody bothered to respond to the branch and the manager told me that she will send another mail, which she did in front of me and that she'll let me know as soon as they respond.

- New Invoice came, no change.

5. Phoned the manager of the branch directly and asked about the case. She told me that they still havent responded and that she has no other way to contact them.

Best of all is that the number doesnt even exist on the MTN network! So in 5 months nothing has happened to protect me as a customer!

So here is what I have to say next:

I WILL NOT PAY 1c UNTIL THIS IS RESOLVED AND I WILL TAKE ACTION AGAINST MTN FOR DAMAGES CAUSED DUE TO LOST TIME OR SHOULD ANY OF MY LINES BE SUSPENDED DUE TO NON PAYMENT! YOUR INCOMPETENCE IS NOT MY PROBLEM ANYMORE!
