MTN being inconsiderate

Tried porting to MTN using my FNB connect number now apparently I’m “Rica barred” so they say, and I was advised to go visit a branch, meanwhile where I love reside there aren’t any branches the nearest branch is hundreds of km away close to R200 in trip money
