Mtn bad customer service

If I could give zero stars I would. I went to canal walk mtn on the lower level to do a upgrade on a contract today. After speaking to a consultant and seeing the packages available I decided on a package of R299. When trying to take out the package they then inform me that the contract will be R329. I disagreed with the consultant and asked to see a manager as I wanted it for the displayed price as advertised. I was greeted by a manager Tania who's demeanour was not too friendly. I explained the situation and she nonchalantly said to me that I wont be getting it for the R299 as it was last months deals and the price is now R329 and I could take it or leave it. It is the 11th of the month and according to her they still have the previous months pricing up????? I could see from the attitude received that I would be wasting my breath trying to debate the matter and asked for a area managers number to take the matter further. After being told she would give me the number if it would please me I was again told that I would not be getting the contract at R299 so I should take it or leave it,as if I hadn't heard her the first time,I received Shaun the area managers nr. I contacted him and explained the matter to him. I must say he was pleasant in his demeanour but continued to say that the point of sale price is the price that would be charged and he would not be able to help me. After back and forth I told him that the ending of the matter would be me cancelling my contract and them losing a client rather than trying to resolve the matter and potentially loosing clients in the form of anybody I speak to and recommending them not to use mtn because of their customer relations. The answer was sorry you feel that way but I cant help you. R20 is not alot of money but the principal of the matter is a big deal to me. Dont advertise something in store and promoted by your consultants and then charge me an increased tariff and use error and exclusions as an excuse. I see from all the negative feedback mtn has received and the lack of replies I probably too wont get any feedback.
