MTN bad customer service

My MTN contract expired on the 25th of January 2015 and I requested that my number be transferred to Prepaid soon after expiry. I was requested to send an email a month before of which I did and I stated that I want to go on prepaid. I sent emails and still have them as proof. On the 26th MTN deactivated my number and I called the call centre 808 and was given numerous ref numbers for follow up and was told that my sim will be activated within 7 days. Its almost 3 weeks now and my sim is not active. I called again on the 9th of Feb and was told my sim will be activated within a day. I am utterly disgusted with the way MTN has handled my case and wonder if this is the service they are promising their clients in future. I can't do my banking transactions anymore, I have lost clients over these weeks, I am waiting for an sms confirmation from a visa center. How will I get all this sorted??? How will I get my clients back? MTN has cost me big time.<br> Why is it so easy to debit money off my account and so difficult to activate a simple number?
