Mtn *******

I had signed a contract with mtn for a cellphone and an additional contract for data , for 5 years my my contract cost R650 no problems I paid in full every month , antil this year when I received a call from Rewards.co . The laidy who spoke to me spoke so fast and shoved so much information my down my throat ,offering me a better data contract than the one I had provided I would only pay R5 more ,she read through all the Ts and Cs and explained that my contract was due to end very soon and that is why she is offering a new one , upon hearing this I asked her very specifically to have my contract canceled the data to be transferred to my existing number and she agreed to it saying it will be done and that I will be getting a new Sim to just have incase I wanted to do a data share , fast forward to the payment date , MY CONTRACT JUMPED FROM R650 TO R1350 ...*DOUBLE* ,double my usual rate ,I called MTN and they explained that I had been mislead and will have to pay the amount in full ,while they process a cancelation of the one contract that was due to end , They told me after 20 days the contract would end ... it did not end there after 20days I received another invoice guess what my contract had not been canceled, they slapped me with yet another R1350 that must be paid in full , Dont be fooled by these people they are sly and will catch you off guard regardless of weather you a new customer or a longtime existing one ,I received no compensation or courtesy after dealing with 4 of their services providers i was only only told sorry please pay !!!dont sign up with them
