MTN at it again!!!!

I have a uncapped data stick of R200 a month and a prepaid contract for about R550 amount. I a being charged double on my datastick of additinal services and my prepaid is incurring out of bundle costs which I dont even know is possible on a prepaid contract.

This all happens after I had a long battle with them regarding ***** that occurred on my account in the previous year where my contract was upgraded for new devices and my data contract converted to a cellphone contract and additional devices ordered. There is no internal control for verifying a customer or procedures followed to protect customer confidentiality of information.

I've beens sending email everyday for the last 8 days and calling the call center and I have received no assistance to date. I requested cancellation costs but now we have entered a new month and I will be double charged for another month.

Everyone also needs to chech their BIS cost as MTN does not switch this of when you move to a android or Iphone which is highly ********* according to me.

Thank you for your post.

We do pick up that the account has been billed for content usage.
Kindly be advised that any services used on the sim card will be charged to the account, content services is not a MTN service and from our side we cannot activate this, content service can only be activated by the user of the handset. MTN do not credit the account for any content charges.
Content charges are when you download information from your Internet commercial adverti*****t to your handset.
Please note we cannot assist you with the break down for the content charges because this is not a MTN service and we do not work on outside company systems.
We can send a request to the content provider to remove your cell number from their data base. The request has been sent to OPERA TELECOMMS, Your unsubscribe has been logged as #***. Please remove the sim card and place into another device set up the following:
You may use the following USSD code to block the content service providers: *141* 5 # select option written content billing
Please confirm the cell number and month in question for the charge for BIS service we do not pick up any BIS charges.
*** is on the Mychoice 100min not on prepaid.
The usage limit has been changed from the device from R300.00 to R60.00, from R60.00 to R200.00 from R200.00 to R0.00, once the usage limit is on R0.00 after the minutes and data has been used up the account will not be billed for data or calls out of bundle rates. When the usage limit has been changed the system billed the account extra for data and calls.
Please confirm the make of the devices to assist you with the early termination fee.
Kind Regards,
Alice van der Merwe

My datastick is plugged into a wifi router at all times and only accessed for social media by my laptop and phone, so how do MTN allow the subcribtion of such a devise to a 3rd party vendor as I dont even know you would do it if not plugged into a phone. I have not authorised any annitional costs to be incurred especially with the data contract.
Air G is a MTN product an no such subscribtion has been made and I would like to lodge a ***** complain for these fees that was deducted on both accounts.
I understand that it is not a prepaid contract but I have only signed in shop for a FIXED R200 data contract and a mobile contract which provide fixed airtime and data. If I requested(and I have not) additional services from a 3rd party, then that should be arranged for payment between myself and that party as I have signed no documentation allowing MTN to deduct fees for 3rd parites and this is clearly not ethical behavior. A bank cant just deduct money of my account because someone said I owed them unless a debit order was arranged or a court order demanded such payment. I signed a debit order for these fixed contracts any nothing more.
Also, how could you ask me what devices I have to ask for cancellation. You are the service provider, how do you not know what devices you gave me!!!!
I have also not had any responses on any of my emails ref nr's # ********** 5 [# ********** 1] first dated 24 October!!!!
