MTN at it again 5th or 6th complaint
I just spoke to one of your consultants Leboghang Mokebe. As my contract is coming to an end(so I believe) I wish to cancel my contract but was informed that I have outstanding fees.
According to Ms Mokebe my payment for November was never received and there is a +-R600 for data which I never signed up to that is outstanding. I demand to know where these outstanding balances come from, and what data is she talking about. My contract is fixed from what I understand, I would only have to buy airtime or data and no data would be loaded to the account without my knowledge. Why is MTN's clientcare unable to give immediate answers on the phone? Everytime i have to send damn emails or go to a store..where they are also unable to give me an answer.I mailled all my proof of payments from debit orders on my bank statement to customer care ***

the reference for her call was ***

Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. Kindly note that you are billed for a data bundle that was loaded on the phone itself. A pop up message appeared on your device offering you a data bundle and you selected 'Yes' and accepted the bundle hence the recurring data bundle was loaded.
We have removed the data bundle however the charges are valid and needs to be paid.
Rest assured that it is not our intention to displease you and we look forward to continue improving on our service delivery to you.
