MTN are service losers not champions as they claim!!

I was offered and took a data contract SIM card by MTN. Initially i was told the contract will be like a pay as you go, as you would pay for what you use only, and you wont be credited if you do not pay. In my understanding, if i had enough data i would not be under obligation to pay the contract as it would just lapse. But things went a bit bad and i was in arrears, eventually i was terminated and had to pay the full contract.

I have not paid my arrears including the settling the full contract while i did not get the benefit of the data. But when i try to reach MTN to secure my paid up letter i am taken from pillar to post. This is affecting my credit record adversely.

My experienced has been that, while MTN calls themselves service champions, they are in actual fact service losers. I do not think i would do contractual business with MTN ever.
