MTN ARE *******-NEVER EVER HAVE AN ACCOUNT WITH THEM!!!

I would actually like to give MTN 0 stars, but that is not an option. I got stuck in a different country during Covid and therefore couldn't close my MTN account. I tried, but I was always told I had to go in store to cancel it, which is a bit difficult if you're not in the country. After 5 years, I eventually had the money to visit South Africa and went in store (Brooklyn Pretoria) to cancel my contact. They told me it cannot be done in store, only via phone! So I paid my account for 5 years without using it and I could have done it on the phone? But wait there's more...I managed to close the account via phone call and guess what? They are still taking a random amount of money out of my account without my consent for 4 months after closing the account! They are technically *****ing my money. I don't check my SA account often, but received an invoice for R87.77 via email. I don't have any idea what this amount is, or why they are charging me this amount. I've emailed, I don't get a response. So I think I will be paying MTN this amount until the end of days. Maybe after death even, who knows?
