MTN are most *********
Last week I was phoned by MTN and told that the package I was on was no longer available. They told me I had to change it, I told them my contract ends in December and they said it would be for those 6 weeks and then I could choose what I wanted to do. In a nutshell I was forced to change the package. Having two contracts, I was told I needed to do both. I have just received my account and I have been charged R200 for "migration fee". When queried why they are charging me, even though I didnt ask or in fact want to change I was told that it was standard procedure. What a ****., if they have 20 million subscribers and they do that to each of us, thats an extra R200million in their pocket, for what? Forcing me to change my package. I contacted them to query this, after speaking to the person at the call centre and getting nowhere I asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold. She came back and said no one was there to speak to me, what nonsense, but was given another number to phone. They are not interested in helping me. I phoned the number given and it wasnt even an MTN office, the 1st thing was "Dial 1 for Vodacom, dial 2 for MTN, once done I was on hold for just over 15 minutes without having spoken to anyone. Even though I have been with MTN for many years! Not at all impressed with the deceit and service.
It seems I am not alone...you are about to loose a loyal customer, no communication from a communication company, pathetic!
