MTN ARE ****MERS

MTN ****s their customers!!!!! On 15 Nov 2023 I opened an MTN month to month data contract (uncapped & 35mps) advertised @ R 499-00 per month. Apparently you also get a free router (as advertised) which I didn’t need but accepted anyway. All costs up until 5 December 2023 came to R 765,13 which I fully paid in store!

Great was my amazement this month when I got an account from MTN for over R 700 rand again! Upon querying this at their call centre I was told it is pro rata payment for the router (which is advertised as free) and then told its pro rata for data! WHAT DID I PAY THE R499 for if not for UNCAPPED DATA!!! Querying this the fone was disconnected by the MTN operator. Typical about ****mers, if they can’t lie to you anymore, they just put down the phone!
