MTN are ****mers

They called me when my contract was about to come to an end and advised me that they can offer me 100gigs of data for R290.00, they did not however tell me that once the contract ended I would be debited for R1500.

I called proactively in November to put in a request to cancel my contract but I was told I have to call again in January - no idea why they could not just cancel it effective end of a January.

I’m sure I’m not the only person this has happened to, they conveniently don’t send you any notifications to let you know it’s going to expire and they do not let you know that the price will change.

I got transferred 4 times and spoke to multiple different agents including a team leader and nobody could assist or knew who could assist me, I eventually hung up because I dreaded having to explain myself for the 5th time.

I have been with MTN for about 9 years but will definitely not be doing business with them in the future and I’ll do my very best to sway everyone I come into contact with away from MTN.
