MTN are idiots!!
Found an MTN contract on my credit rating, called to find out what it is as I have no idea. No payments made from my personal bank account. Will not give me info as I failed the security test. Now I must go to an MTN store to sort it out. *******. No wonder I switched providers from MTN years ago.

03 Jul 2018, 09:00I actually went into a branch, against my will. It is a ********** transaction according to MTN. Yet in order to have it removed, I had to get an affidavit from the police to say it is not me. Only then will you remove it from my account and credit reports?? Anyway, I got the documentation and will submit it at Tygervalley branch later today. I trust it will be removed ASAP. Thanks for your response

04 Jul 2018, 10:22Hi, I have submitted the documents as requested: REQ ********** 7300. Apparently the ***** department has to follow up prior to removing it from my name. Please ensure speedy follow up as it adversely affects my credit score. Thank you.

22 Jul 2018, 12:03Hi 22nd July and it looks like it is still on my account. Can you confirm when it will be removed. Removing my details from the contract cannot be a big job. The MTN consultant told me it is considered *****, hence you are not trying to collect from me. I had to submit an affidavit and then it is removed, why so long. Thanks for your help

02 Aug 2018, 14:37It seems private messages are ignored by MTN (Sent them on 22 and 30 July) So it seems that I will have to go public again....MTN what is the progress on this ticket, I submitted the requested documents on 4th July at Tygervalley branch and the ********** case is still linked to my credit profile causing issues with my ability to borrow?????? I get it, you're so big that individual customers do not count......
