MTN ARE CHEATS!

I have just about HAD it with MTN *****ing & refusal to cancel the contract that is just about to be renewed. They have increase my subscription without notification and while still in a 2 year contract that is meant to be a fixed amount. The branch said I can not cancel with them I should call the contract centre which can do future dated cancellations even if I wish to go to prepaid. So I contact the call centre after trying twice one Thandi answers of which she and the 2nd agent answers but drops the call. I eventually get through to Lilian who said they cant future the cancellation I must call after the next Invoice but need to make sure I use all my airtime else it will be lost. I then ask so when will my last debit order be she then says the following month but I wont get any airtime it's simply rules. I ask to speak to manager, she then says hold and comes back to say they not in yet, I then told her my husband use to work for Vodacom and there must be a manager on duty. She again put me on hold, comes back and say they will call me back and drops the call in my ear. I have read that I am not the only person with this problem at MTN. I will be taking legal action against MTN

Hello acupido,

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns with MTN.

Please accept our apologies for any inconvenience caused as a result of the breakdown in service delivery.

The information you received is correct - call on 13th August to request a migration to prepaid and ensure you use up any remaining rand value as it will be forfeited once the migration is successful.

Regards
Mary
