MTN are absolutely impossible to deal with.

A whole new level of inefficiency! Between MTN Cavendish, MTN Somerset West and MTN Customer Service I spent from September 2014 to February 2016 trying to cancel an account. Due to relocation, I diligently paid the account up to term and repeatedly submitted cancellation documents, only for them to get lost, mislaid or relegated to the bowels of MTN. I did everything I was supposed to do and more, now, 4 years later a debt collection agency is threatening me! For an account that has been dormant for years. More phone calls, more inefficiency, still no resolve. MTN as usual remain impossible to get hold of and I am left with absolutely no clue how to move forward. I haven't lived in SA since 2015 so its not like I can keep repeating the process of going in to MTN stores in the hopes someone can actually do their jobs. Absolutely useless!
