MTN APP - Statement and Invoice email not working

The function in the APP to get your Account statement or Invoice emailed to you almost never works... It down most of the time and I am struggling to get my Invoice emailed so that I can claim my Cell phone allowance from my employer.. MTN is a multi Billion Rand company but they cannot do something as simple as issue a statement or Invoice.. What is going on?
