MTN AND THEIR FAILURE TO ASSIST

On the 6th April 2019,i upgraded my contract MTN(Next to Clicks) in Canal Walk to a P30 pro, the deal at the time was that the first 6000 thousand customers who chose the P30 Pro would receive a Huawei GT Active watch to the value of R5499,While busy upgrading i asked the MTN agent Kim if there is anything i need to do in terms of getting the watch she told me no i just need to wait for a month before i recieve the watch,After a month i returned to the store and spoke to Kim,This time she told me that she told i must wait a month before i receive it.I waited and waited but no watch, i then decided i was getting no where with MTN and made contact with Huawei,to my surprise the Huawei agent told me that for gift i needed to claim online which KIM and her colleagues failed to mention to me,The Huawei representative also told me that someone claimed for the gift on the 7 May 2019 which couldnt of been myself as i wasnt aware that i needed to claim and his being my first time using Huawei i had no clue. I then went back to MTN to query what Huawei said and at this point Huawei had then sent me a wireless charger cause the claim was made late and they had no record of a claim being done on the 6th April. I recently returned to the store on the 23rd October, somewhat 6 months later telling them i still havent recieved the watch i and that i still have a wireless charger which i refuse to use as this is not what i am supposed to recieve, the branch manager Riaaz was so dismissive when Kim told him i still havent recieved the watch and all he said was they must escalate to Huawei,Now note Huawei has told me numerous times that because the deal with with MTN i need to escalate to MTN and MTN says because its an Huawei product i need to speak to them.My wife who upgraded on the same day took a Samsung S10+ and within a week she receieved her wireless earphones.

MTN is quick to bill me for the new rates of my contract but they fail to assist me in getting the gift which i should rightfully receive. They failed to understand the issue is with the agent who assisted me.

PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Alice,

Thank you for your reply regarding the watch but I still feel MTN fails to understand that your agent failed to inform me that I needed to claim for the gift on the day I upgraded. Had the agent told me do claim Huawei would've sent me the watch. So yes the deal is with Huawei but why did I miss out on the watch??? Due to the MTN agents failure to inform me that I needed to claim.
