MTN and their bogus liquid damages

With regards to what I have been told about my Z3.When I contacted mtn to find out why was my warranty beyond repairs I was then told my phone was liquid damaged which could not be possible. My phone stood in sportscenes stock room for over two months and a cellphone technician told me that if a phone had been water damaged and was standing all that time the water would dry out.MTN claims to have proof of images showing the liquid damage....I find this very strange as I am not sure how liquid got into my phone and it could have been mtn for all I know.
