MTN and Senior citizens

App**** for a MTN LTE package online. Received a call from MTN needing supplementary information. I was then asked whether I was employed or self-employed. Neither, I am a pensioner. I was then informed that as a pensioner I cannot apply on line but need to visit an MTN shop. Why is this MTN?
