MTN and Me2U

Recently I received an SMS that a Me2U transaction went from my phone to my daughter's phone. MTN then shutdown my account as I had gone over my allowed limit. I immediately called MTN and told them that I had not approved a Me2U transaction.

I was told that I could not report the issue until I received my invoice. After receiving the invoice, I again reported that I had not approved a Me2U transaction. Strrangely enough my daughter's invoice did not show a positive amount from Me2U (proving my point).

11 emails later, I cannot get an answer out of MTN as to where this transaction went, they cannot provide me with proof that the request came from my phone, they cannot provide me with proof that the transaction went to my daugthers phone. And now they are refusing to help me because I won't email my ID number to them. I have provided them with my invoices, my itemised billing and all other personal details (other than my ID number)

TO my mind this is tantamount to theft.
