MTN and it's INSURANCE is a ****

I have a contract with mtn with a device that was not insured, I went to mtn to upgrade since I was also due for an upgrade. I successfully upgraded and I also insured the device 2 years later I lose the phone and during the claim stage mtn says they added insurance on my previous device which I lost (how stupid can one be?) long story short I cancel the insurance as I now have to pay for a phone that I don't have in my possession. They canceled the insurance but now my services are closed because the cancelation doesn't appear on their system so the insurance is reflecting as in arrears
