MTN and Baseplay

I noticed that I was subscribed to Baseplay @ R40 per week. I have unsubscribed via my MTN App only to find two days later that I was subscribed again. After the third time I have contacted MTN ***** Department who told me that when ever you give permission for cookies on a website you actually give permission for paid subscribtions. That is of course utter nonsense. MTN billing department say I must have unknowingly gave permission. This is also utter nonsense. I hold MTN responsible for the fact that they allow shady dealers like Baseplay to have access to peoples accounts without permission. My reference to the call where I stated that I don't allow any paid subscriptions on my account is ***. The call was ended at 11:53 on Staurday 4th April 2026
