MTN allows *****ulent contracts to be taken out
I suspect that *****ulent activity has taken place on our account in that an unusual large amount was debited by means of debit order last month. When I queried this with MTN customer care we were told that 1) our email address has been changed and 2) two new contracts were taken out on our account. We did not request or approve any of these actions. I was told that this had to be reported to their ***** department on ***. The first person we spoke to (Drienie) pretended that she could not hear us as soon as she heard we wanted to report a ***** case. The second person we spoke to told us that he does not deal with our type of ***** and gave us a bogus number to call. The third person we spoke to put our call through to the new contracts department who promptly passed us on to the creditors department. If this is way MTN deals with their internal ***** then no wonder its out of control.
