MTN Allowed Transnet to do a SIM Swap on my Acc

On Tues 2 Feb my cell stopped working & said I wasn't registered in the network. The next day I was advised I needed to do a SIM swap which I did. But in order to do this SIM swap I had to provide a company letterhead and my ID. On Thur 4 Feb I got a phone call from a confused lady wondering why I was answering her boss' number. She said it belonged to Transnet, but I told her it had been my number for years. She said she did a SIM swap on the Tues on my number which is why my SIM stopped working. When I asked MTN how Transnet could do a SIM swap without providing FICA documents, they said that Transnet emailed the request in and so never checked the documentation. When I queried what would happen to the calls this person made on my cell number, I was told that \he didn't make many\"!!! I sent a complaint to MTN and surprise surprise I haven't had a response!"
