MTN Alberton Store Stole my number and gave to someone without my concern!!!!

MTN took my number which I had been using for more than 10 years and gave it to someone without my concern. They changed my numbers Rica status and even joined my number to contract under someone's account without discussion with me.

What happened is me and my former boss visited an MTN outlet in Alberton on the 1st of October 2020 to get a data SIM or to activate a data share with her number. When we visited there I was told to be outside while she do everything on her own. After waiting outside for almost an hour she come out and hoping that I will get a data SIM she said no they added my number in the business account so that I will receive data everymonth which I said is fine . She didn't tell me that she de registered my number from me to her names. Yes I am recieving data everymonth but I wasn't aware because my phone is not even notifying me that I am no longer the owner of the SIM because to me it is still on prepaid because every time I recharge my MTN number on my own, to my surprise on the 4th of February 2021 while having a small argument my then Boss said do I know that the numbers I am using belongs to her? We have a big argument on that because I said her it's impossible I then called MTN customer care who confirmed to me that I was on contract and I am was no longer owning that sim. With anger I went straight to MTN outlet to get help they told me that boss did all by her own without even letting me know . MTN staff has dissapointed me how come can they take my numbers away from me without even letting me know or ask if I was happy with getting a contract on my phone numbers which is not mine? I am asking who ever who can assist me to help me to regain ownership of my MTN numbers that I have been using for a long time to help me.

MTN South Africa, I went to The shop were all these took place and it seems even the Manager is not intertaining my grievance . I don't want my number to be under anyone's contract no if the lady want to give me data she should have taken a data SIM not to use my numbers NO.

I am asking MTN headquarters to be aware of this and see how can they help me.

The shop that did this is in Alberton and Shop manager is Neo , Shop contact number is ***. I am asking you to do a follow up with the store and get the contract which was neither signed by me or my former boss granting her permission to own my MTN numbers. I am addressing this to you and if you want I can send you police affidavits that I did asked by the store manager Neo. When I called MTN customer care they told me Store Manager has got more powers to dispute that contract but I am in fear because I always see an SMS saying 'Y'ello! SIM Swap received for ***. To process this SIM Swap reply "Yes" to this SMS now! To STOP this SIM Swap reply "No" now! and I am always saying "no".

I love my MTN network and I don't want to loose it just over night like this.
