MTN Alberton City - Very Bad Service

On 24 November 2023 I took out 2 contracts at MTN Alberton City for my children for their birthdays. Each contract included the Samsung Galaxy A24 and I specifically asked for Insurance on the phones. Janine assured me that both phones were insured before I left the store. In Feb, my children were held at knife point and their phones ******. I submitted the police reports, etc to the Admyntec (MTN Insurance company) in order to claim for the ****** phones. After much too and fro 'ing and trying to get a SEIBEL report (which I still don't have), I am told today that only the one phone was insured. I am speechless! Two contracts, two phones taken out on the same day, 2 forms signed - but only 1 insured! I am told that the paperwork signed at the store has been sent for storage (archives) and it will take a while to find the docs and have their returned to the store. That is if the paperwork can be found...

So nearly a month later, I have not progressed with the claim whatsover. Never will I take out a contract at MTN again or insure a phone through them. I have been an MTN customer for at least 25 years and this is what I get???Where do I stand in all this? This is totally unacceptable!
