Mtn airtime *******

I loaded R200 airtime on the 9th of Feb 2017 at 14:04, no idea how much data I had on the number. From there I sent three smses to an mtn number and placed a call to an mtn number for 28 seconds at 19:20. My data usage from when I loaded the airtime till now 10th of Feb at 17:15 has been between 142 MB and 72.54 MB. My phone does not allow me to check times for data usage.

I tried to send an sms but it would not go through so I checked my airtime level, R0 airtime, 0 smses and 37.63 MB of data. So I had data left, meaning that I haven't been using airtime for data charges.

So in essence I got billed R200 for one call of 28 seconds and three smses. Thats a bit rough mtn, thank you for making my day.

My airtime usage has been a bit rough for a while now so I'm not sure how long this has been happening but its well worth it to keep an eye on your mtn airtime I would guess...

Btw, phoning your customer care and holding for 10 min is not good customer service either, so I'm resorting to a publuc complaint on hello peter...

Hope my situation can be fixed soon.
