MTN airtime
i went to a ****a shop and bought R30-00 MTN airtime and was charged R35-00, i ph the consumer credit department and they told me theirs nothing they can do i must contact MTN. i ph to the MTN call centre and was told they can't do anything as the ****a shop got nothing to do with them. i argued that the MTN airtime is advitised at R30-00 and not R35-00

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience caused and for the delayed response to your post.
We can confirm that we (MTN) sell airtime to our dealers, who then sell the airtime to ****a shop owners, garages etc. We have a recommended price that we advise all dealers to sell the airtime at. We have no control of what the ****a Shop owners sell the airtime at from their shops.
We've now escalated the matter to the management team within our Prepaid Department and we've requested that you be contacted with feedback.
