MTN: Agents of Satan

MTN is by far the worst network ever! How can a contract which is meant to be R275 rand, have me end up paying basically 1000 rands, all because of the fact that one unknowingly makes their line an open contract because MTN does not disclose to their customers that if certain options are selected from their handset, this will result in the customer making their contract an open line? Also, bear in mind the fact that when my data or airtime gets finished, I still then go buy airtime with my money separately, on top of using an open line that I was not even aware of. After being told of this issue, I was then notified to reverse my open line, which I did, yet, I am still paying an exorbitant amount of money for services yet again, I did not have knowledge of, a service I definitely do not want and a service, where I was under the impression I had then cancelled! Now my line is suspended and I am not even allowed to utilize the airtime that I bought as a top up, even though the MTN consultant had revealed to me that any airtime that one buys outside of the contract airtime that is given by MTN, is none of their business. If that was truly the case, then why can I not use any airtime that I have bought with my own money? Furthermore, MTN has been treating my contract agreement, as if I signed for some kind of motor insurance or a fununeral policy because twice now, my monthly payments have gone up, in the space of less than 6 months this year. I was under the impressions that will cell phone contracts, one pays a set monthly amount, so what on earth is going on at MTN? it already takes a lot for me to even call their customer services because I know, as well as they probably do, that their help is hypothetical; they can't do anything to help you because their are assigned to extract money from you and nothing else. I am absolutely furious and I really need help with what I can do.
