Mtn agent gave me false info to sign up for contract

I had a mtn black friday data deal for 4 years now the on 27 Nov 2020 I spoke to Daniel Sennya he offered me a black Friday deal R299 150 gig day and R150 gig night and he said it is a month to month and I can cancel at any time I then accepted. A few days later I called in to confirm contract is legit then the lady told me that I actually signed up for a 36 month contract not month to month. I contacted mtn complaints, customer services and retentions for the recording because Daniel said on email he did say it's a 36 month contract but he did not. I am still waiting for that recording since 30 November. How could a agen lie to me after being 4 years loyal customer to mtn. I called in to reinstate this contract and retentions department said they will see what they can do and call me back this was the 2nd week in december still no contact from mtn they have just forgotten about me since they put me on prepaid. And I currently have 114.90 gigs laying in night data which now I can't access after 12am I called in and agent said he refreshed my line and it should work after 12am it still doesn't work my day data gets used. I have realised MTN doesn't care about customers at all.
