MTN AGAIN!!! No surprises that no one can help you there

Once again, absolutely pathetic service from MTN. Wonder why I am surprised as this has been their level of service for a while now. I am trying to assist my dad to cancel a contract. Contacted MTN on the 17 July (when they told me to call in after a previous discussion with them) and was told I am unable to cancel on that day as it is the last day of the contract. I called in on Monday, 20th July and held on for 30 + mins with no one answering. My dad called them on Tues and held on for another 30 + mins and same experience. I also add my dad into my calls with MTN and get charged for the conference call yet no one answers from the rententions dept. My dad was told someone will call him back and almost a week later, nothing.. Called again on Thursday then emailed *** and an automated response to say we need to call in or a consultant will call back and guess what ......NOTHING!!! MTN is always ready to sell a contract and target pensioners and vulnerable people with their deals but have absolutely SHOCKING after sale service. Now we will got through another month of waiting to cancel a contract.
