MTN affects credit scores
Be careful before you take a contract out with MTN as it can affect you when it comes to purchasing a house or vehicle etc.
My husband went to MTN last year May 2023 and took a LTE contract. At the store it showed that we had coverage in our area but when we got home there was no coverage. We returned the device within a week and the contract was terminated with a letter from MTN.
To this day MTN is still billing him for a device/ contract we do not have which has no affect our credit score... we are still trying to solve this issue with MTN but they are useless. We are currently trying to purchase a house and the banks are turning us down because of this one issue with MTN that does not know how to do their jobs.
It is May 2024 and we still are Being billed.
