MTN absolutely rotten service.

My wife has been trying for over 2 months to cancel her contract as during this time she has been unable to make or receive calls and messages except via WhatsApp. We called at 2 stores, sent endless emails, messages and phone calls but only response we get is apologies for inconvenience, the matter is receiving attention but absolutely nothing happens. It’s the most appalling service ever. We’re trying to take out a contract with another service provider using her same number but they can’t give us a contract until MTN cancels theirs. In the meanwhile, our account is being debited with the monthly charges and we’re getting absolutely no service. An absolute disgrace!
