MTN Abetting oppression and abuse of human rights in Cameroon

<p>The English speaking regions of Cameroon have witnessed a total shutdown of internet services from MTN.There two regions in terms of language in Cameroon.The marginalised peoples of west Cameroon and the french speaking peoples of east Cameroon who practically rule the country from the capital of Cameroon Yaounde.What started as a simple request has escalated to the government ******ing innocent civilians and raping women.The people of west Cameroon started protesting their oppression by the government and made some demands.These protest gathered momentum on social media platforms.And two days ago the government ask MTN to shut down internet connections in these regions.MTN obliged.It is a shocking thing for MTN to do.Knowing that it is a South African company which knows the oppression that the country has faced.I am disgusted by MNT.It is a shame.</p>
