I have bee a customer of Hellopeter for many years. I have had a few problems with them over this time. In November 2018 I had a really big accounts problem and after numerous contacts with their very unhelpful and off hand staff, I resorted to Hellopeter. A lady called Zaneli Mazibuko contacted me and efficiently resolved the problem. Based on this I made a huge mistake by taking 3 new contracts with MTN. There was a problem with my Debit Order on 26 March, 2019. As soon as I found out through my bank that there was a problem, I made contact with MTN (within 48m hours). I asked that the Debit Order be represented. I was told that this would be done and it would go through with 24 hours. I waited 4 days and called MTN again. I re-explained the situation and was told by the agent that it had not been done. She said she would do it while I was on the phone and then confirmed that it was done. She mentioned Arrears but said it would be OK I could take the account as paid. 2 Debit Orders were then presented at the bank. I cancelled 1 and allowed the other to be honoured. I called MTN to tell them what was happening and was told again not to worry about the arrears as the other agent said it was OK. On 15 April 2019, my account was suspended. I called MTN and the lady said she would look into it and she put my phones on again. Today I received a SMS saying account not paid and I would be suspended. I again called MTN to be told I was in arrears and now own MTN R1200-00. I have never missed a payment in all the years and cannot understand why I would be in arrears. I called to speak to Zanele and have asked for her help once again. I am told I will have an answer tomorrow. She is the most client orientated staff member at MTN. If we can resolve this matter I will remove this review.
