MTN a bunch of ******* who are full of deceit. I regret using them

I regret taking a cellphone contract with MTN, it took Vodacom 18 years to frustrate me, with MTN it was just days.

When I took their contract, the sales person in their store promised me that my phone's SIM cards will be unlocked after 12 months of taking their contract. I started contacting MTN from the 15th month, they never bothered to unlock the phone, despite numerous emails and calls. Even beyond the contract the phone is still locked to MTN networks.

Recently, I paid for 10GB of data, and had over R300 of airtime, and MTN erased all of this as soon as I asked them to cancel the contract, since the 24 month term has ended, despite me being debited for the airtime in April 2025.
